Terex Trucks appoints Ferronordic Machines

Strengthening its position in the Russian Federation, Terex Trucks has signed an agreement with Ferronordic Machines that covers the distribution and support of the Terex Trucks’ products throughout the country.

On Wednesday 17th December Terex Trucks signed an agreement for Ferronordic Machines to become its national importer and distributor in Russia. The agreement further strengthens the truck manufacturer’s offering in the CIS region and capitalises on Ferronordic Machines’ extensive investment programme and reinforces its ability to service customers in this vast country.

In line with Terex Trucks’ commitment to dealers, products and customers, Ferronordic Machines will work in cooperation with existing Terex Trucks partners to ensure a seamless continuation of high-level support to existing customers.

Ferronordic Machines has expanded rapidly across Russia in the past four years since it has been in operation in this country and is well-established in all federal districts, with over 70 outlets.

Paul Douglas, managing director for Terex Trucks said of the agreement: “Ferronordic Machines is already a well-established distributor in this region and provides excellent support and parts availability. We’re looking forward to working with Ferronordic Machines along with existing dealers to grow Terex Trucks and to support existing and new customers in Russia.”

Terex Trucks produces off-highway articulated dump trucks from 25 tonnes to 38 tonnes payload capacity, and rigid dump trucks from 41 to 91 tonnes payload capacity. All Terex Trucks machines are designed for heavy-duty hauling operations and enable high productivity through even the most extreme working environments, which is especially beneficial in Russia’s often adverse weather conditions.

“We are proud and honoured to become the distributor of Terex Trucks in Russia,” commented Lars Corneliusson, CEO and president of Ferronordic Machines. “The introduction of Terex Trucks will significantly improve our penetration in the core earthmoving segment, and extend our presence in light mining”.

Terex Trucks has been operating in Russia for nine years and has established a strong presence with customers in the mining, quarry and construction applications.
